Rev. Dr. Rondall Leggett
Rondall Leggett is the Pastor of First Missionary Baptist Church in Marin City, California. Prior to his service at First Missionary, Pastor Leggett was the Youth Pastor and Men’s Ministry Bible Teacher at Little Zion Baptist Church in San Francisco. He also taught Sunday school at Mount Sinai Baptist Church in Port Arthur, Texas, and has served as Youth Pastor at Faith Fellowship Baptist Church in Vallejo.
Pastor Leggett is a community Pastor who insists that the church must extend beyond the four walls of the sanctuary, and has trained his membership in evangelism. Pastor Leggett organizes Prayer Walks through the community, and is a member of the Marin City MLK Coalition which focuses on a healthy Marin City. He is the co-founder of “Chain Breakers” a Christian Support Group whose purpose is to share the faithfulness of God. He is facilitator of the Marin City Fatherhood Council where men come together in support of fatherhood in a strong community. Pastor Leggett has served on the Leadership Board of the Redwood Empire Baptist Association that provides leadership to 52 churches in Northern California. Pastor Leggett is currently an instructor of Communicating the Gospel and Spiritual Leadership at the North Bay School of Theology at San Quentin State Prison.
His Awards include the Craig Skinner Award for Biblical Preaching from Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary, State of California Certificate of Reconnection Leadership Commendation from Mark Leno, Senator 3rd District, and the Marin City 2013 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Coalition Community Service Award.
Pastor Leggett’s education includes a Master of Divinity degree from Golden Gate Theological Seminary in Mill Valley, California. He is currently working on a Doctor of Divinity degree at Golden Gate. Pastor Leggett holds a “Healthy Church Consultant” Certification from the California Southern Baptist Convention.
Pastor Leggett is married to his sweetheart Angela. They have three children, a son and daughter in-law, and four grandchildren.
